Victoria Beckham says she would love to create a dress for the First Lady because she’s such a “strong woman”. Beckham has designed several collections of women’s clothing and is also known as a fashionista.
Victoria’s clothing lines have won widespread praise. She thinks that she’s up to the challenge of dressing the First Lady.
The one-time Spice Girl said: “I would love to dress Mrs. Obama absolutely absolutely absolutely! I just think she’s incredible and she’s a very strong woman and she’s beautiful. “I love women and I just want to make women feel good and beautiful and it’s just been a huge compliment that ladies have enjoyed wearing my dresses and they look great! It just goes to show they can flatter women of all different shapes and sizes, all different heights, and that’s what it’s about. It’s about creating an illusion and having a great cut.”
Eleven years after saying “I Do,” David Beckham is still head over heels for the wife and mother of his three boys, ex Spice Girl Victoria Beckham.
“She is an amazing mother,” the soccer stud, 35, told reporters backstage at the Teen Choice Awards in Universal City, Calif. Sunday. “When you see a woman becoming an amazing person with her children, that is one of the most attractive things about Victoria — and any woman.”
Although the Los Angeles Galaxy player told UsMagazine.com that sons Brooklyn, 11, Romeo, 8, and Cruz, 5, take precedence in the Beckham household, he also plans special dates to keep the spark alive with Victoria, 36.
“We make time for each other. We work hard as individuals, but our main job is being parents to our boys. Our boys are our lives,” David told Us. “Our number one priority is our boys, but we make time for ourselves and go to dinners and romantic weekends.”
And when David and Victoria can’t sneak out of the house for a romantic evening, they’re perfectly content to stay at home and watch Glee as a family.
“We watch it sometimes with the boys, but me and Victoria put the boys to bed at 9:00 and watch it,” David said. “Victoria loves the show!”
Victoria Beckham is set to launch a handbag line.
The 36-year-old has reportedly enlisted the help of top accessories designer Katie Hillier to create the collection.
Beckham’s rep told the MailOnline: “There is a bag line in development and Katie has consulted on the technical aspects of bag construction in line with her experience in the industry.”
The spokesperson added: “As with all her ranges, Victoria has sought the best consultants to ensure the highest level of quality at manufacture for her designs.”
Katie has created well recognised handbags in her work for top designers Marc Jacobs and Stella McCartney.
